The 34th Hong Kong Book Fair, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 2024 to 17 July 23. This year's theme is "Film and TV Literature". It will feature a carefully selected collection of literary works and books related to the film and TV industry. Selections will include film adaptations of literary works, drama scripts, works on film culture, and film critiques.

In addition to exhibiting works by film and television writers, there will also be a number of seminars during the book fair where readers can appreciate the works from various angles. Six writers, Joyce Chan, Chiang Hiu Mei, Law Kar, Erica Li, Raymond To and Norris Wong, will also be taking part.

In addition to this year's theme of "Film and TV Literature," the seminars will be held in eight other series, including "The World of Knowledge," "Hong Kong Culture and History," "English and International Reading," "Lifestyle," "Self-Improvement and Spiritual Growth," "Reading for Children and Teens," and "Famous Authors."

This time, the Hong Kong LEI column "Kiri's Hong Kong TourKiri, who is currently serializing "I Am Your Father," is scheduled to publish her fifth book this month. To commemorate the publication, she will be holding a lecture at the venue. Anyone attending the book fair can participate (the lecture will be in Cantonese only).

The event will be held on Sunday, July 21st from 19:30pm to 20:15pm in Conference Room S428.
