An exhibition is being held to commemorate the publication of Miyuki Kume's book "Hong Kong Department Store," which was introduced in Cover Story Vol. 74. The exhibition is held at the vintage shop "Jik Sap" in To Kwa Wan. The exhibition, titled "Hong Kong Department Store," has the same title as the book, and will run until November 11rd.

As mentioned in the interview, Kume-san has a unique perspective on everyday items from Hong Kong's past, and collects Hong Kong goods while understanding the stories and cultural value behind them. This is his first exhibition in Hong Kong, and it's a rare opportunity to see his actual collection up close. Kume-san's book "Hong Kong Department Store" will also be available for purchase at the venue.

The exhibition is being held simultaneously at two separate venues. At the To Kwa Wan "Yue Shih" venue, products featured in Kume's books are mainly on display. The second venue, at the event space "Yue Ho Village" at Chi Tak Airside, will mainly feature "Red A" plastic products provided by keepkeepcompany, a collector of Hong Kong goods and toys. "Red A" is a well-known manufacturer of red fan shades that are often used in butchers and greengrocers in markets, and is a representative Hong Kong plastic product brand.

Both exhibitions are designed to introduce the appeal of Hong Kong products from various angles. Come and experience the appeal of "Made in Hong Kong" products.
